14. I honestly think this was just idiocy rather than malice.
I'm not defending Republican tactics but I think in this case it may have been simple idiocy rather than malice (not that that makes it any better). Why would they try to suppress the Democratic vote during a primary?

What does bother me is that Diebold has a code that can be used to nullify votes. This highlights a major problem with machine voting: what happens if a mistake occurs through no fault of the voter? If you don't have a method for correcting the mistake then that voter gets screwed. If you do have a method then that method is a security hole which can be used to manipulate the vote.

We need to get rid of these machines.
