and illegally entering the country is not a way to win friends and influence people. What about all the people who are waiting their turn by applying legally for entry into the country? What about all the illegal immigrants now in prison? Why haven't they been deported is they broke our laws to the extent that they are now in prison? Sorry, but other people have tried to get into the country for ECONOMIC reasons and they were turned away without shame (Hatians, Jaimacans, and remember the Cubans who happened to be poor and brown-skinned, many of whom are still in jails in Texas)? I am against this amnesty and I am against the policy that we have concerning Cubans entering this country without any problems. If they weren't benefiting corporations and helping to break the backs of our unions, this would not even be an issue. They just wouldn't be allowed to remain in the country.
