Charlie Sheen swiftboated in Norwegian paper

Here's a rough translation from an article in the Norw. paper Aftenposten. Normally, this paper is pretty accurate (despite being known as a 'conservative' paper), but this article holds just to much venom to be a coincidence.

Charlie Sheen does not only create headlines from what he does, but also for what he says.

The actor, more known for his questionable life style than for his acting, has made many Americans shake their heads with his last public statement.
Charlie Sheen says to the radio channel GCN Radio Network that he doubt the US government's official explanation that '19 amateurs armed with paper knives hijacked four planes and hit 75% of their targets'.

Sheen, who was in New York on 11. of September 2001 to tape an episode of 'Spin City', says he immediately got suspicious.

After seeing the South Tower collapse, Sheen said to his brother: "- Call me nuts, but doesn't that look like a controlled demolition?"

Further, the actor refers to eye witnesses that says they heard explosions coming from the underground levels of the WTC. He does not believe in the theory that fireballs swept down through the elevator shafts to create the damage in the WTC lobby.

"- It's up to us to reveal the truth. We owe that to the victims and to the relatives."

The question is wether Charlie Sheen is the right person for that job.

Many Americans 'shake their heads' over Sheen's statement - but how many applaud it? Welcome it?

How many would just see the whole affair opened up for a just investigation?

This paper is suffering from lack of knowledge of what's really going on in the US - a common trait for Norw. media. They have no idea about the Xtian/Bush govt. pressure against the constitution, no idea about their US colleagues affinity with the Xtian/Neocon movement and no idea about the PNAC doctrine, and how many people from that particular org that holds positions in the current US govt.

A search for PNAC in the text archive leaves only four hits; all containing interviews with Norwegian 'politicos' that refers to PNAC as a 'think tank' close to the US govt.
No mentioning of 'Rebuilding America's Defenses' and statements like 'fight and decisively win multiple, simultaneous major-theater wars' or 'absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event – like a new Pearl Harbor'. Nothing. This is not mentioned in Norw. media at all actually, I've checked.

Subsequently, they're succumbing to the instant mass media reflex when Sheen says what he said; conspiracy theory nut.
