56. So there's no mistake-

This was a fun bit of satire, is all. I didn't have many people numbers to multiply by 11.44 but I did play around with the money. And it is interesting that we use Hussein's first name all the time. I don't really like the idea of the overthrow of our government without due process. I don't think Hussein, Ali, et al would be interesting in reconstructing America, if by some bizarre chance they managed to invade. I am also a veteran of Gulf War I. ( Navigation Petty Officer of a Navy oiler in the Red Sea; my reserve duty was Navigator of a mine hunter on the Columbia River.) I have also lived in Jordan for a year, perhaps giving me a unique perspective. I don't even necessarily think the war was wrong, though I will happily protest on the street with you, due to its massive and unnecessary civilian casualties, mismanagement and especially its beginning which totally squandered our world political capital after 9-11. I believe if Al Gore had weighed the issues and decided Iraq had to go, he would have been able to organize a U.N. Army to do it. Bush just pissed people off everywhere.
