Besides although I do agree that they're more then a bit over paid and I realize that some of this time (probbaly too much) will be spent on vacations I also realize that not all of the work they do is done while in session. Part of their job is supposedly getting out and hearing what their constituents are saying, see what is truly needed by their constituency and make contacts and arrangement in order to help get that to them. Also I'd rather my reps occasionally be available in a location where I might actually see one face to face then always hiding away in Washington.
