If you stop and think about it, they are literally a con-man's dream. Bush and his cronys are actually creating opportunities for con-men to prey on the fears and vulnerabilities of the middle and lower class population, who are faced with the double blow of withdrawal of the pensions that they thought they had from their place of employment and ongoing attempts to privatize social security.
The mindset that it takes for a President and/or a political party to deliberately push policies that would benefit the criminal element... Well, what can you say? :shrug:
