76. Public figure...true...absence of malice...
...OK, I'll give you malice. Fact is, Judy didn't do anything 'wrong' - given her, and her co-conspirators' purpose - they got exactly what they wanted...the country and Congress gave bushco the go ahead to engage in this fuckin' disaster that is Iraq. But just to be sure, I looked up 'slander'...first it has to do with 'utterance of false statements or misrepresenting the facts'. This then, from us 'bloggers' can't be 'slanderous' for a couple of reasons. First, since it was written and not 'uttered or voiced', and second, since everything that's been said - with the possible exception of she 'porked a pony in mes-o-po-tamia' - is absolutely true. Now if she had said 'libelous' she would have at least been in the right context...but then she'd still have to deal with that truth thingy.

Maybe what she meant to say is that the bloggers use ugly language in their denunciations of her - then again some of us think that 20 thousand dead and maimed GIs along with untold numbers of Iraqis, pretty-much trumps calling her a fucking whore.
