. . . This is no win situation for too many of them with too many of their constituents.

We can expect plenty of distraction from the criminal surveillance, the growing recognition that something was seriously wrong in the 2008 election, the growing buzz on impeachment, and . . .

But this one not one of those intentional distractions. These people really aren't very smart. Rove is no genius. He "wins" because he cheats. When people praise his skills, it is like praising a card sharpe for being a skilled poker player.

Actually, their A-Number 1 distraction is always the same, and "we" always fall for it: Yatter and speculation about the 2008 Presidential election when impeachment and other events between now and them are going to completely change the dynamics and render all speculation meaningless.
