At first, it was only about abortion. Then they started claiming emergency contraception, which can (theoretically) prevent a fertilized egg from implanting in the uterine wall (but which is mostly used to delay ovulation), is actually a form of abortion. Soon they will start making the claim that since other hormonal birth-control methods can also theoretically prevent implantation, those methods are *also* abortion.
Of course, headache pills and cold pills can also theoretically prevent implantation--but you notice nobody is going after those, because they aren't contraceptives...
