for years NPR has been complaining about fundies with boatloads of money buying up small NPR stations and turning them into Christian radio.
I don't doubt it's not just NPR and Air America they've been targetting, but they seem to be targetting any news outlets that they think aren't "proper."
As has been said-- they have a war chest for this sort of thing, and we don't.
