this is a good move.

But the one-party government is not going to do anything about any of this stuff. The Dems are so ennervated, they're powerless to stop the corruption, the lies, the outright crimes of this adminstration and their minions in Congress.

But the Dems have to keep up the pressure by doing precisely these kind of things. I only wish that our party was more unified against these criminals. However, that's the difference between a party of ideologues and one that operates on principles. The former will always act in lockstep, the latter will show a diversity of opinion and won't. That's precisely why I don't worry too much about a lack of unity in the Dem Congress. I don't want the Dems to act like the thuggish Repugs. All the more reason for us to take Congress back this year.

What I worry about the most is if Repugs hold onto Congress this next November. That's possible, and will possibly be the end of our republic if it happens.
