25. Unless they rewrite the law
I know, it would be after the fact, but...

I always enjoy how the law is there for the powerful, and to be used against the powerless. Seems the powerful always get to write the law. It's amazing how that happens. It's as though they have some right to write them.

As we all know, rules are made to be broken, and they all are. Then they're rewritten, and broken again, rewriten, broken again, rewritten, broken again...

It's just like the military weapons that this country invests in. You don't sink billions, and not expect a return on that investment. The bombs aren't made to sit on a shelf. The technology that agencies such as DARPA work on every damn day isn't there just for show. It will be used, law or no law. As long as agencies such as DARPA exist, they will continue to work on these technologies. Until we all get that through our heads, laws don't make any difference.
