"There has been much progress made. Slavery was abolished shortly after the Civil War. Women were given the vote. FDR initiated a wide range of programs to help people, such as Social Security and labor laws to help working people. The GI Bill of Rights allowed people to obtain an education, who would never have been able to do it otherwise. The Civil Rights and voting rights legislation of the 1960s were big steps forward, as was Medicare." time for a change
The problem that America is encountering is the the RWing is Hell bent upon destroying all that progress and bring America back to a fuedal system.
