Or it would be, if it weren't so damn pathetic and if people with these cockamamie beliefs weren't in charge of everything. Imagine having to believe that your all-powerful "God and Creator" found it necessary to "plant" deceptive fossils, rock strata, and other clues to "fool" his creations into believing something that isn't true. What kind of god would behave so foolishly?

This is the same god who, after creating the entire universe, culminating with the creation of humans, then demands that those humans spend all their time praising him, burning animals to please him (huh?), worshipping him, etc. Why so insecure? He even says that anyone who doesn't believe in him will be condemned to eternal suffering. Would a genuine god need to extort belief while demanding constant praise?

The amazing thing is that many of the people who believe this happy horseshit are the nicest, friendliest people you would want to meet. They just have a screw loose somewhere in the cortex.
