Just because the Dem who won in North Carolina or Indiana is "against abortion" does it really matter? The Republicants had the power for 6 years and DID NOTHING, because they know NOTHIING CAN GET DONE as the American people are AGAINST outlawing abortion...hell, even the red state of SoDakota opposed it.

So, basically abortion is just a red herring to get the fundys whacks to vote, usually Republican. All the while no laws change, no SCOTUS rulings overturned, nothing....however, while the fundies keep sending in Republican Christians, other things get done...more power for the rich, war, hatred, vitriol, theocracy, raped environment, etc...,etc...

Now with the Dems in power some of those things can be curtailed....See, us Democrats ALSO have VALUES...we value people on earth, we value children, we value older people, we value those without power or voice, we value equality and social justice....It is THOSE values that are under direct assault under right-wing rule, NOT the value of abortion.

Put it this way...Democrats and Christians Democrats will do more for the disenfranchised, the poor, the powerless, the environment, those needed food, health care, and opportunities than the Republicans EVER did for "abortion."

The fundies have been sold a bill of goods and continue to wander in their self-imposed desert.
