What is there to gain by tearing the GOP apart?

No member of the GOP would want it, they'd rather have hush money (of which we have evidence, or the beginnings thereof).

No Democrat would DARE take such a bold, leadership move (we have solid evidence of THAT).

No, I think Joe Q Citizen just got wind of it, got ticked off, and started this ball rolling and it's turning into an avalanche because the GOP DESERVES IT, DAMMIT!
