I found this audio file on Wikipedia, it is from the highly questionable Revolutionary Communist Party USA. I personally did some digging and have found that on December 1st 2001 this debate really did happen. Also having heard Mr. Yoo speak numerous times before, I am quite familiar with the sound of his voice, and this does sound like it. So in other words I believe and would attest that this is real.

I say that because it is so gruesome that one of the people involved with detainee policy could say something so sick:
"
Cassel: If the President deems that he’s got to torture somebody, including by crushing the testicles of the person’s child, there is no law that can stop him?
Yoo: No treaty.
Cassel: Also no law by Congress. That is what you wrote in the August 2002 memo.
Yoo: I think it depends on why the President thinks he needs to do that."

Here is the audio:

Even if you think torture is acceptable for detainees, this is not, this is the child of the detainee who has NO INFORMATION!
