mean to trash you. I will be honest and say that I think a number of DUers trash themselves. Perhaps it is similar to your thinking that some do the same reading TO.

Regarding the "incident" with JL, I have tried to avoid giving my opinion on the Rove business. I have tried asking people on both sides of the divide a few simple questions. In truth, you are the first of the anti-JL who has attempted to answer me in a civil way.

I wish that more people would attempt to be civil on the topic of the Plame investigation, including in the reports from TO. It seems that there is plenty of room on DU, and those who want to trash TO/ and JL could surely have threads where they can insult and degrade TO/JL to their heart's delight. There should also be room for those who wish to discuss articles from TO/JL to do so without the constant attempts to degrade those discussions. And there could always be a third group, for those who want to say nasty mean things about their fellow DUers.
