41. Umm, was your remote broken?
It's quite common to make fun of repug types who moan about what's on TV and how it is destroying minds and lives. We laugh that they should just quit bitching, turn off what they don't like, and let everyone have the freedom to watch what they want. How is this any different?

Every industry has their awards. If other industries had this much money, they'd probably glam up and televise their awards if they could, too. I work in this industry, so I pay attention to its awards, whether I watch them live or catch up the next day. If, for example, the real estate industry started televising their awards, I JUST WOULDN'T WATCH because it would bore me to tears. (I take that back -- I'd probably watch the pre-show to see what people are wearing.) But I wouldn't complain about all those shallow, idiotic, untalented real estate agents out there!
