Hope is such a fragile, fleeting thing isn't it? Yesterday afternoon congress gave hope to thousands of Americans by passing the H.R. 810 stem cell enhancement bill.
People went to sleep knowing that their might be relief to their suffering. Parents went to bed with the hope of their children's pain being eliminated. People...no I...went to bed with the hope of knowing that I might be able to get off of "welfare" and start living a life of productivity.

Yesterday after noon congress gave me hope.
This after noon, the President is expected to veto H.R. 810 and slam shut the window of hope that I experienced. And the hope that thousands of Americans experienced will be washed away forever by a mere pen stroke.

How can anyone put sick people through this and not be considered a monster? How can anyone put people through this and still be considered a Christian? How can anyone put people through this and still be considered human? How can anyone put people through this and still be considered a man?

If the President goes through with this veto I will at least have the comfort in knowing that President bystander's claim to be "religious" is a sham. And that he's facade would be revealed before the whole world.

To me he is no longer the worst President in history. He is simply the cruelest President who ever lived.
