It's a thick book, and controversial, but eye-opening. Dulles-Nixon-Bush I are thoroughly intertwined with the nazis and arab oil. (Nelson Rockefeller as well.)

As I recall the characterization of the other presidents: Truman, Eisenhower and Kennedy were pretty much out of this loop, though if I recall correctly Truman put a stop to what he knew about. Carter and Reagan were played for fools, in different ways.

Given that Cheney, Rumsfeld and Haliburton are old school, and that Shrub is probably a narrow-minded alcoholic, one wonders about the power structure. Who gives who what, since Shrub can always use the ultimate temper tantrum.
