blogger.com question about logging on

I set up a new blog on blogger.com, Dump Stephen F. Lynch. A friend of mine created an ID/password combination & posted a comment.

A few days later he tried to log back on again & the system sez he has an incorrect password.

I've perused the forums and help facility, but can find no references on how to 'fix' the password problem. This person is very challenged when it comes to computers, and I hesitate taking him down the clear cache & cookies path.

Any suggestions? Is this common occurrence?
