How awesome to see such beautiful creatures so close up. I am reminded of that when I walk down to the big lake to watch the loons, the geese and the mallards. I suppose at some of the lesser populated lakes around here we have exotic things, but they (country rules) won't let you take any form of watercraft onto the lakes from May-Oct. because of nesting/wildlife protection.
