drinking. I was not black-out drunk at any point. I just have weird, fuzzy, underwater holes in my memory too.

I can't remember much of the speech. I remember standing DIRECTLY behind him and choking on my own pounding heart that was lodged in my throat. And...I don't remember him leaving the pub, oddly enough. I remember sitting with him, standing to leave, and everyone in there was staring...I don't remember how he left or anything.

Everything after I looked at him and said "I registered to vote for the very first time just so I could vote for you" and he whipped around and stared into my eyes for what seemed a whole minute, and said "WHAT?" so I repeated it, and he actually looked misty-eyed, and said, "Oh my god... thank you" is a blur.

I think because that's when I died.
