14. I'm back and forth on this
On the one hand, I want Iraq to be stabilized before we leave, on the other I have my doubts that anything is still salvageable. At least by us. I really believe we are way past the point of being able to stabilize that place. We may have to bite the bullet and pull a Vietnam - everyone out, admit defeat, and hope someone more capable will fix our mess - or not. If/when a civil war breaks out, we will lose many more troops there and will have to choose a side. Then what? Ugh..too much to think about this late at night.
I'll just reminisce about beautiful JK, and the fact that we all got to see him again. However; that tie simply has to go! I swear if I see that one more time, I will personally go out and buy him a new one. :-)
