That is the facts! And the other facts are that during his tenure their he wiped out 7,265 cases. It doesn't make a shit how it was done the fact remains it was done and the fact remains that out of all the cases he did prosecute he did WIN! The man never lost not even one case there.

But let me add some of the other important things he did while he was there as well. Something to many people overlook getting tied up in this numbers game about how many cases he wiped out or didn't.

When Droney promoted Kerry to first assistant giving him free rein to overhaul the office he did so because he felt Kerry was more knowledgeable and was more organized than any of the others there including his loyalists. Kerry proved Droney right by all means and help Droney get re-elected. Many from the DA's office said that had it not been for Kerry that Droney would have never been re- elected including the Droney loyalist.

More importantly Kerry took a very disorganized, slow functioning, poor excuse of a DA's office and turned it in to a successful one. He took a 3.8 million infusion of federal funds he helped obtain, tripled the staff, most of those were women. He organized special units to prosecute white-collar and organized crime, programs to counsel rape victims and witnesses, and a system for fast tracking priority cases to trail. And even with all his adminastrative duties Kerry still was in the court room being the hell of a prosecutor he was. And again he NEVER NEVER lost a case he prosecuted!

The facts speak for themselves when it comes to this man's career as a prosecutor. It is not a numbers game as many make it out to be. The fact is he is one of the best wether people like and respect the man or not!

BTW, Did I mention the fact that the whole time Kerry doing all this that Droney was afflicted by Lou Gehrig's disease? And how many in the DA's office have talked about how Kerry in effect became the legs and voice that Droney never had.
