20. Well Kerry did stick up for Weld
when Jesse Helms bottled up the Ambassadorship to Mexico in Committee. (And Kerry had recommened Weld to the Dem Pres.) That was such a nice gesture on Kerry's part. But it didn't help. Weld folded up his tent and disappeared from Massachusetts.

Did you hear that Weld might run for Gov of New York. He told a paper there that he was just a carpetbagger in MA, but was a native New Yorker and would be running as a native. As far as I know, he hasn't eexactly created a stir among New Yorkers.

Hey, look at that pic, Kerry is way, way more informal than Weld is. That's kind of a first!
