A 'privilege' pretty much means one could take it or leave it right?
Your war-pig commander needs to explain 'Privilege' to the people caught in the stop-loss or the IRR recalls. They must've really demonstrated potential for future development... so much so that the Army is involuntarily recalling them!!!!!!
Here's a word for him: fratricide ... That's what'd happen if some bozo tried to talk to me about reenlisting while I was in Iraq.
