I was happy enough having the semi-concrete idea that Dems could be every bit as racist as Repubs, every bit as insular, every bit as divorced from reality. Seeing what I've seen this past year has not only turned a semi-concrete feeling into a rock solid belief, it has angered and disgusted me so much that I've actually made some personal changes in my life/career. Sometimes knowledge is not necessarily bliss but it's definitely empowering.
