castor oil packs: Recommended for almost all problems involving assimilation or intestinal problems. Soak a flannel cloth folded over once or twice in warm castor oil, place the flannel over the abdomen, cover with a plastic cover and put a heating pad on top, keep it there for about an hour (30 minutes to an hour before sleep is very effective). I've found I can just rub the castor oil directly onto my abdomen, cover with a towel and the plastic cover and heating pad, nd it works just about as well.
