I clearly understand this.

It's the difference in the archetype of Pisces and the people you've run into who are unable to manifest the true essence as ExPat implies. Sure, I know tons of Pisces that are complete washed-out mess. But. If you talk to many of them as I have, you'll see that it's mainly from being squashed by all those around them. Granted, it's their duty to maintain their own self-strength. It's a very demanding sign - unfortunately/fortunately, it's where we're all headed, like it or not. It's the natural end state of spiritual evolution.

As for you acquaintance who cheated and died, evidence again of improper form of transcendence, known as escape.

is exactly what happens when they 1) don't have the ambition, but more importantly, 2) aren't in sync with their faith, belief, and "the flow" which is their well-spring.

What you are reporting to me is very common for those Pisceans who just don't get it. Observe the quiet, powerful, meaningful influence one George Harrison, Pisces, had on the Beatles. Rare, but more aligned to the archetype.
