This is getting more and more interesting.

I will try to explain what I can.
It is very complicated and I only gave you the highlights.

If you get a chance to read H20 man on GD, he is the DU expert on the Libby trial. He has been following it very closely for some time. He is also very patient and has answered all my endless questions about the trial. He also agreed, at my request, to post a weekly summary, so busy folks can keep abreast of the trial. But I will be happy to post the snippets I think are most interesting here.

BTW h20 man hosts one heck of a St Paddy's Day thread here on DU, a party all day long with Irish poems, memories, songs, quotes, family stories. You name it. I cried the whole day last year reading it :)
