6. This is fascinating
I have listened to "A Brief History of Time" by Stephen Hawking. I did not understand all of it, but I listened.

I've been fascinated by the assertion that mathematics and music are the "same". I kinda don't get it completely. I can see the rhythm aspect. Is that it?

After reading this, I think there is much much more.
Nice topic, Dover. Will get a lot of us thinking.

I have no clue what crop circles are. I don't believe they are all the works of plankers. Not sure I "believe" in aliens. Not willing to rule anything out. ... caveat ... I have ruled out "religion" as a viable means to a peaceful life. I prefer the "open door" approach to life. Religion closes the door. ... full disclosure ...

I'm fascinated by the "time" concept. The skeptics can skep all they want. I read their stuff from time to time because they are kinda cute and funny. Like a pet. They can come down on "woo woos" all they want. In fact, I have started referring to myself with that term, and all my friends know EXACTLY what I mean. I do not hide my being. I'll take the compliment, thank you.

But "time". I dig and hang out with these guys who are all scientific, and I love it. They are the "engineer" types. Einstein, Newton, String Theory, etc.. So, I told one of them that I believe it is possible that we live in "parallel universes". That's a completely physics therom. It has nothing ... yet EVERYTHING ... to do with woo woo. He thought I had some mystical intent. Not at all. I explained to him how if we are all traveling the speed of light, there is no "past" .. no "future" .. it is NOW!
And who knows how fast we are "traveling"? I think it's the speed of light.

I love thinking about this stuff.
