2. It's Vista. Clicking on Control Panel after Start, then wireless network.
And it says device not ready and shows a red x.
We called Linksys and they said we had to download updated drivers, which didn't seem to work. We are thinking we have not put in the address of the modem.
Or maybe it's the address of the modem with the router?
My friend and I are now both thinking address wrong, as we just had that problem setting up the printer on the other new computer, and finally Brother told me to go to command, etc., and put in the right address of the printer, which, printing out a test print showed on the test print page.
But how can I do that on the modem, or is it the computer, or the router?
