5. The current population of this planet makes what you suggest
impossible. The cavemen lived a hunting and gathering existence. Our current world population is too large for such a lifesyle. We are almost completely dependent on large-scale food production and distribution to survive.

However, global climate change certainly may reduce this planet to a similar state, with resulting reduction in the global population. That doesn't seem a positive result to me, although it may appeal to others, who will ignore the concept that they will likely not be part of that reduced population.
