Rep.Weiner's amendment to replace the House bill with the single payer HR 676 will be going for a floor debate and a VOTE in the House in September.

Your pressure on the House did it. Chairman Waxman announced that Speaker Pelosi promised a floor vote and a debate on single payer in the House.

Obama raised $1 million for his health care ads in one week. Dean raised $1 million for his campaign in one week. Surely we, the most committed of all health care advocates, can raise thirty thousand.
