And I must say that I am sorry. I run a clinic in the US but retain my Canadian citizenship so I have experience on both sides of the border as a provider and patient and I will take the Canadian system any day.
Do you know what you never see in Canada? Those posters that are in every gas station in the US that I have ever been in which have the picture of some kid or family advertising a fundraiser to pay for someones next surgery or cancer treatment.
Think for a moment why those posters don't exist in Canada.
And think that we can afford universal care in the US right now without paying another dime more than we already are.
The reason your daughter died is that the US is number one in health care rationing. No other country keeps more of it's citizens away from any treatment at all or only offers then substandard treatment.
