58. well anti-gay is definitely a reason not to like him.
But I do agree apart from my personal dislike of the guy that we have a kneejerk reaction to Chavez the political leader.
He is an elected Democratic leader of a foreign country. If they want a pro-gay leader they'll elect one, unlike America who tried to depose him and replace him with a former anti-democratic dictator who was oil-friendly to us.
We STILL have egg on our face to the rest of the world whether American realizes it or not.
Chavez is a bigger attention whore than Perez Hilton. They should file for a marriage license.
