Next year I'm going to talk to churches about gay rights

There is a constitutional amendment being proposed in Wisconsin which would make it even more difficult for gay and lesbian couples to have rights with regard to their relationships. I saw this issue being used to divide the country last year during the election, and it makes me sick that its going to be happening in Wisconsin. I am neither gay nor married so the issue does not affect me personally.

However I am a Christian, and it doesn't take too much work to see that one of the primary groups which opposes marriage equality are churches. My views have evolved considerably over the years, so I feel like I would be a good person to talk to undecided Christians about voting against this amendment.

I recently went through the training with a group called Action Wisconsin to be a speaker, and asked to be assigned to speak at Churches. Its going to be a challenge for me, but I need a challenge.

I am posting this both to offer some hope and to ask for support!
