FIFA eliminated ten referees from further consideration for quarterfinal and beyond games.
Included are Coulibaly of Mali, who disallowed the third US goal vs Slovenia, Larionda of Uruguay, who botched England's second goal against Germany, Lannoy of France, who sent off Kaka against Ivory Coast, and Rosetti of Italy, who allowed Argentina's first goal against Mexico.
