6. I think the Pats' secondary is almost totally irrelevant to Manning...
Just like in the last game, the D's #1 coverguy might be able to match up against the Colts' #1 receiver, but their #2 or #3 won't be able to match up.

I can only see 2 ways of beating the Colts: (1) consistent and unpredictable rush pressure against Manning, whistle-to-whistle, and (2) A consistent and slow running game, that keeps Manning on the sidelines. Better yet, both. Without at least one of these, I think Manning is just too good.

That's why I see the Steelers as having the best chance against Manning.

Maybe the old Raiders, with Hayes and Haynes, or Chiefs with Cherry and Burrus could've relied on their superstellar secondaries. I don't think any of today's secondaries are up for it without taking a second or two off of Manning's time to read.
