except that I see schools like UConn ranked 19th...if the Big East can play baseball, why can't the Big Ten?. I don't believe you can play baseball OUTDOORS year around in CT. I don't see them crying about the weather either.

I understand you're claiming that Big Ten baseball is lacking because of climate issues, but there has to be much more at work here. I mean, not only isn't a Big Ten team ranked, but looking at the lack of top 25 votes, one has to assume the conference isn't even competitive when lined up against the rest of the country.

I see Minnesota won the Big Ten tournament and a spot in the Regionals. The 64 team field will be announced today..we'll see if any other Big Ten teams make the tournament...perhaps even make a run. You never know, maybe I can be proved wrong. If not, you can then go about formulating more excuses for Big Ten inferiority.
