AN INJURY TO ONE directed by Travis Wilkerson

Visually not too exciting; stills, landscapes, etc. It's about events from the early 1900s - the lynching of union organizer (IWW) Frank Little. The Pinkertons Strike Again could be the subtitle. Here, they were working for Anaconda Mining. The film also goes into the environmental catastrophy of Butte.

One surprise from the film was finding out the author Dashell Hammett had been a Pinkerton. It makes the claim that his being approached and asked to kill Little was responsible for his political awakening.

Anyway, you may want to catch it for yourself on a repeat.
