18. Man, you sell the movie way short.
I've been thinking about the movie constantly since I saw it on Monday, and can't wait to see it again. It had a great story and plot, masterful direction, great dialog, etc. Stop looking down your nose and acting all high brow. No one says you have to like it, but stop acting like the ones who do are beneath you and don't know good films. You sound like the people harping on video games for not being as thoughtful as the entertainment THEY like. "Oh, gamers, they just like the blood and violence, they don't care about stuff like an actual story." That's exactly how you come across. I'm sure District 9 is a very cool movie. I KNOW Basterds is a very cool movie. Why act like the one you like is the only smart one of the two, and anyone who likes this is a simpleton?
