Reading a book titled "Big Coal".....

by Jeff Goodell. It's about the resurgence of coal in America as an energy source. The book addresses some commonly repeated myths about the availability of coal and it's ability to sustain our energy needs over time. Also does a beautiful job of exposing the net result of the coal industry's work in West Virginia.

I'm fifty pages into it and can't put it down. A great read that follows the personal stories of serveral characters who have been impacted by the coal industry. The author also takes Bush to task frequently. Has anyone else read this book?
