The Secretary of State revises the figures based on reports from the county Supervisors of Elections. Florida law stipulates different due dates. The first set of unofficial results were due from the Supervisor of Elections on 11/4. Most but not all of the votes were tallied by that dated. The final results were due yesterday and certified today in Tallahassee. Revised figures include not only military votes but oversees absentee ballots, local absentee ballots, provisional ballots, and revised machine county in those counties were local candidates contested the results (one town did two recounts and then finally chose a city council member by a coin toss).
