94. Well, a couple of things.....
#1 I'm not a guy at all - good or bad :-)

#2 Thank you again for this thread. It's exactly what I called for and your best revenge on Bev Harris. Do a better job at what she thinks she's so good at.

#3 If I can offer a couple explanations for some of the questions upthread, I will:

A. The Zero "0" Tape is run before an election to indicate the machine starts with "0" votes (supposedly). In some states, it MUST BE ATTACHED to the End of Day Machine Tape. Both of these tapes must be signed by the Precinct Manager and Assistant Manager; the folks IN the precinct responsible for the voting process. They are supposed to remain attached to each other to prove the machine started at Zero and ended with "this many" votes and that the elections officials in charge certified both sets of numbers. Can someone in FLORIDA check your procedures regarding the language of the 2 tapes being connected?

B. As I said in A above, the signatures on those tapes are critical because they prove they were printed before any accumulation and modem transmission occurred. The only manipulation possible, at that point is the program software and ballot definition files themselves. Those End of Day Machine Total reports are crucial to proving votes may have been manipulated via modem or at the central tabulating unit.
