All too true. I don't support paper receipts for eVoting systems because I know just how easy it would be to print a person's vote on the receipt and then merrily discount it in the tabulation.

Unless all the paper receipts are gathered up and counted, then compared against the electronic vote, there's no true verification. And if you're going to count the paper votes ANYWAY, why bother with the electronic system?
