By calling Kerry a coward, you put yourself in the same (swift) boat as the opposition. Yeah, it's way more cowardly to travel to a war torn country, than to sit in a comfy chair in congress, drinking coffee and eating bagels.
In case you didn't notice, he took a stand in his e-mail, that he wasn't going to challenge the certification. He also gave us guidance on what to do. He sent that e-mail to 3 million addresses. How many do you think followed his lead of advice to call Frist and Hasert? How many just bitched about him being "awol"?
This is OUR fight and we made a huge step in getting our voices heard on Jan. 6th. Kerry standing to challenge would not have made a damn bit of difference except to open him up to right wing media ridicule, and that serves no purpose but to dim the spotlight that WE caused to shine on OUR cause.
