How about a full page ad in the Washington Post, folks?

I've just sent this to Michael Moore. Don't get pissed at him if he doesn't respond - I'm sure he's a busy man. I just thought of him because it seems like it's right up his alley. I'm posting it so you can get where I'm going with this. Is anybody out there willing to give time for canvassing or money to do this? I'm sure a bank fund can be set up in escrow - I've never done it but I can call the bank tomorrow.

What do you think? Hey kids, let's put on a show!

Hey Mike!

I'm just about to get on the Democratic Underground web site and see if anyone has an interest in canvassing Ohio's inner city neighborhoods to get signatures to be included in a full page ad in the Washington Post thanking all of those in the House and Barbara Boxer for the courageous stand they took today regarding the Ohio vote.

I will ask if people are willing to pitch the bucks to run such an ad, but I don't know how far that will go, and I will also put a call out for volunteers to get the names.

Please let me know if you are willing to supplement what is collected in order to make sure this ad runs.

My hope is that something like this will be, if not a wake up call to those Senators (especially, that asshole Voinovich), that no, things were criminally bad in Ohio and we, the ones who voted or couldn't, should be the ones to make that determination. It's not over, not by a long shot.

Don't know if you get a chance to log onto the DU website. I've mostly been on the 2004 election forum and the folks there speak highly of you.

Peace. Thank you for your time and consideration,
